Honoring a Teacher and Friend J

Jake Stults 1978–2010

AKE was a talented musician as well as a patient and caring math and computer science teacher in the OES Upper School. He died from injuries suffered in a tragic skateboard accident. Although Jake’s life was short, his donated organs saved the lives of seven people. His life will continue to benefit others through The Jake Stults Memorial Scholarship Endowment, which has been established by Jake’s parents, Bud and Molly Stults, and other family members. The endowment is a fitting way to honor the memory of Jake’s intelligence, talent, youth, and vigor. It allows OES to provide increased financial aid to deserving students for generations to come. Your gift can be added to Jake’s endowment, increasing the impact of this important memorial to an outstanding teacher.

THE BELL SOCIETY honors and recognizes individuals who have either established an endowment or provided for Oregon Episcopal School through their estate plan. For more than 142 years, the school has benefited from the long-range planning and vision of thoughtful trustees, alumnae/i, parents, grandparents, faculty, staff, and friends.

To find out more, or if you would like to plan a gift to benefit future OES students, please contact Randa Cleaves, Director of Development, at 503-768-3181 or cleavesr@oes.edu.
