Dulux Trade weathershield ‘putts’ a winning finish Rufford Park Golf & Country Club’s popular clubhouse in Nottinghamshire has undergone a substantial renova- tion, using Dulux TradeWeathershield Ultimate Opaque, to give a fresh, durable finish to its exterior wood- work. Graham Sanders, owner of local painting and decorating company, Sanders and Thomas, said: “Dulux Trade provides a wealth of product and colour advice, so we approached Janet

Robertson, Specification Account Manager at Dulux Trade, for her help in selecting the best product for the job. Following her guidance, we chose Dulux Trade Weathershield Ultimate Opaque, because it would protect the timber, as well as provide an aesthetically pleasing finish.”

Senso scores top marks on ME class lighting scheme Middlesbrough Borough Council are using Urbis’ Senso LED luminaire for a ME class scheme near the Riverside Stadium football ground. This is one of the first schemes of this class in the UK to use LED technology and is testament to the Senso’s high quality photo- metric performance and flexibility. Rob Warner, street lighting engineer for Middlesbrough Borough Council commented: “We regularly use Urbis, as they offer high quality products, backed up by an excellent after sales service. The scheme was completed in early 2011 and so far has met all our expectations. Using the Sensos should also reduce our energy consumption by approximately 30 per cent.”
