Hanson’s Regen®
, a ground granu-
lated blastfurnace slag (GGBS), is used as a sustainable substitute for ordinary Portland cement in concrete. Made from reusing the slag produced in iron making, Regen®
reduces em-
bodied CO2 emissions by over 900kg per tonne of cement, making it more
sustainable than other cement sub- stitutes such as fly ash. Concrete made with Regen®
can also improve
the long term durability of structures subjected to aggressive environments and provides a superior finish with whiter looking concrete. To book a full CPD presentation on the specifica- tion and use of Regen®
