ARC 2012 – The experience starts now
The ARC Show, the Architectural, Retail and Commercial Lighting event, will take place from February 29th
– March 1st

Centre, but with some big changes under its belt and exciting firsts. 2012 will see the show unveil its very first curator, influential lighting designer Durham Marenghi. A passionate industry figure and representative of the ARC Show, Marenghi will bring his own mark to the show, providing a creative focus on lighting design and product. “I want our event to touch on the more ‘fun’ aspects of our work and hopefully introduce and inspire architects to creative lighting design.”

Urban Lighting Showcase In its second year, you can view the latest lighting products and solutions for street, park, mixed use public space and public buildings. Running alongside the exhibition is the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) Enlighten Europe Conference, with a presti- gious line up of top speakers from the lighting industry. Leading experts within the lighting industry, including Arfon Davies and Giulio Antonutto, lighting designers at Arup; Mark Sutton Vane, principal of Sutton Vane Associates lighting design and renow-ned light graffiti artist, Michael Bosanko, will discuss topics such as daylighting and LED technology. The IALD are global leaders in setting the standard for lighting design excellence, cultivating the universal acknowledgement and appreciation of the power of light in human life.
