Play to your strengths Whatever your particular specialism we want to make the most of it. You will join a special medical placement that has been agreed beforehand.
Medical Missions projects are currently running in 4 countries: Uganda, Zambia, Kenya and Sierra Leone. Each trip will be topped off with a trip out into the wilds of Africa to take in the stunning scenery and wildlife – in the case of Sierra Leone this is the stunning Burah Beach.

Kiss of life
There is a common saying that ‘knowledge is power’. In Africa medical knowledge and experience equal the chance to save lives.
Do you have medical experience to pass on? Come and join us on a Medical Mission for two weeks. You will be working alongside doctors and nurses in the hospitals, clinics and medical centres, passing on the benefits of your expertise; you will have already had far more training than most doctors in Africa would ever receive. Whether your area of expertise is midwifery, anaesthesia, physiotherapy or dentistry, we want you to get the chance to use it for good.
What you pass on to others will be used again and again to heal, care more effectively and save lives. Give your African colleagues the chance to do their job of healing more effectively – it is a priceless gift to them and everybody that they are serving.
