Mission Direct partners with locally-led projects around the world - projects that are already turning around the lives of the poorest and most powerless people.

Discover

We provide the projects with volunteer help; people like you, helping to build houses, schools and clinics.

Each trip lasts two weeks; it is long enough to make a real impact and see a few sights too. And just as importantly, meeting and serving the world’s poor will have a profound impact on you.

We are a Christian charity committed to expressing God’s love for the poor in words and actions. However, we welcome everyone who shares our aim to make the world a better place.

Why come on a trip with Mission Direct? We make it easy

Change your life

Mission Direct arranges everything for you, including flight, visas, insurance, accommodation and more. We brief you fully about the country and the project that you will be part of.

No specialist skills required

Just come willing to lend a hand. We welcome individuals, families and groups. All ages considered.

You can watch every penny make a difference

100% of the money you raise - over and above your trip contribution – goes directly to the project. You can personally watch it benefitting the people you serve while you’re there.

See your work makes a lasting impact

Don’t rely on other people’s stories about how your giving makes a difference to the poor; see the smiles of a family moving from the slums into a home that you helped to build.

In the words of one volunteer: “I thought I was going overseas to give to others; in fact I received back so much more.”

Don’t give up the day job or the studies

You can help to change lives and communities in just two weeks and return to your usual routine transformed.

Share your faith with practical actions as well as words

During projects we regularly show the Jesus film, pray for the sick and invite people to discover Christ for themselves.
