2011 Horse of the Year Announced

All who have been involved with Quar- ter racing in any regard over the years are asked to dig out the albums that house a treasure chest of history. The Hall of Fame initially will be a collection of pictures and other articles we can transfer to an electron- ic format. There are many long-time associ- ates of Quarter Horse Racing in Ontario. We know you have a wealth of articles we can post for all to see and reflect on. Please take a few moments to go

The exact method to digitize these arti- cles is being determined. Note, you will not lose these articles. Our intent is to initially have this archive on-line. Please provide a list of the articles you have to the QROOI office. We will establish a registry and plan to get these items converted to an electronic format.

In the future, a physical Hall of Fame similar to the Halls of Fame other breeds maintain is planned. The exact location and configuration has yet to be determined. For now we just want to get the various items of note that are scattered about into an elec- tronic format and posted. We know the old pictures and other items will stir the memo- ries we have of our sport.
