Our Friend Ken McKellen

I don’t think anyone reading this doesn’t recognize the name Ken McKellen! Ken may not be an Area 2 member but he is definitely well known by all Area 2 members.
Ken’s father had horses when he was a kid and then bought some ponies along with a friend to share between the 2 fami- lies. Shortly after, Ken’s father bought him- self a horse and ponies for Ken and his sib- lings each pony came with a saddle and a two wheel cart made by Ken’s father. Ken first showed a neighbors’ pony at the Mel- bourne Fair when he was six years old. He then graduated from ponies to grade horses and then later on to registered Quarter
