• To provide access to activities, hobbies and opportunities that help in each child’s personal, social, spiritual and cultural development

Overseas pupils Overseas pupils, whether they are from foreign nations or from expatriate families, need extra care when they are living such a long way from home. We help in the following ways

• For those parents who do not have a guardian in the UK the School is very happy to suggest reputable guardian agencies, with which they have worked very closely over many years.

• School can make arrangements to equip children with all the necessary uniform at the School Shop on campus. Matrons in the boarding houses are able to label all the clothes. We have a reputable shoe company who can visit the school to equip children with all the assorted footwear they require. The School can also organise to provide a child from overseas with a duvet and all their boarding needs.

• There is a fully staffed medical centre on site. • Communication – children have access to e-mail and can e-mail home every night. All children with English as an additional language are given advice as to how to access internet services in their own language. Children are allowed to use either their mobile phones or the house phone in the boarding houses, to contact their families. House Parents can be contacted throughout the day and night if necessary.

• The boarding community work hard to recognise and embrace other cultures by acknowledging notable cultural events throughout the year.
