Dean Close School is located on Lansdown Road. Coming from the Gloucester/M5 direction there is a right turn into the School, however we recommend you to take the Gloucester Road - Queens Road - Christchurch Road - Lansdown Road route, which allows you to turn left into the School.
On arrival in Cheltenham from:
BIRMINGHAM or the NORTH Travel south on the M5 to exit 11, then take the A40 towards Cheltenham and locate the School using the map opposite.
EVESHAM and WINCHCOMBE Follow signs towards ‘town centre’ until you pick up signs for ‘A40 Gloucester’ taking you through the middle of town. Using the map opposite you will find the School on your left hand side.
OXFORD, CIRENCESTER and STROUD Follow signs for ‘A40 Gloucester’ through Cheltenham. As you leave the town, use the map opposite to locate the School from the A40.
The SOUTH and WEST Travelling north on the M5, exit at jct 11. Follow the A40 towards Cheltenham and locate Dean Close using the map opposite.
TEWKESBURY Travelling on the A4019 follow signs for ‘town centre’, turning right at the junction signed for ‘A40 Gloucester’. Then follow the map opposite. The School is on your left as you leave Cheltenham.
Travelling by rail: From London Paddington, Birmingham New Street and Bristol there are regular trains to Cheltenham. The School is a five minute taxi ride or a ten minute walk from the station. Train times can be found on

Travelling by air: Nearest international airports are Birmingham, Bristol and Cardiff, all approximately one hour away.
