If your meeting has been all about hitting targets then why not turn your company's aims and objectives into an end-of-event activity at the Jebel Ali Shooting Club. The purpose-built outdoor clay-shooting range makes for a fun day of recreational or com- petitive shooting. Professional coaching is provided on gun handling and safety, before delegates can get their hands on a weapon and take aim.
THRILL RIDES...
Dubai's original waterpark, Wild Wadi covers an area of more than 12 acres and features 30 attractions. Rides include the Jumeirah Sceirah, the tallest and fastest slide outside North America, the aptly titled Tunnel of Doom, which takes you on a spine-tingling underground journey of twists and turns, and the Summit Surge, which uses high- powered water jets to propel people on inflatables uphill. The park offers a waterproof pre-payment system, which is ideal for groups. Jumeirah's events man- agement team are on hand for corporate functions and the waterpark is available for exclusive corporate bookings outside regular operating hours.
THE ZIGGURAT AWAITS... Aquaventure is Dubai's largest waterpark and is a key attraction of Atlantis, The Palm Jumeirah. At the heart of Aquaventure is the Ziggurat, an immense monument over 30 metres high that launches the bold and brave down the near-vertical waterslide Leap of Faith, then through a shark-filled lagoon. Other highlights include river rides, kids' water activity areas and a magnificent 700- metre beach, allowing guests to combine a day at the waterpark with a dip in the ocean. Another highlight of a visit to Atlantis is Dolphin Bay. The four-and-a-half-hectare
location features three lagoons and is home to Atlantis's group of captive dolphins. Visitors can get up close with the creatures as part of the Dolphin Adventure package, swimming among them in the lagoon and enjoying a belly ride back to shore.
