WILD WADI Dubai's original water park, Wild Wadi covers an area of more than 12 acres and features 30 rides and attractions. Situated adjacent to Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Beach Hotel, it is just a 20-minute drive from the Dubai World Trade Centre. Rides include the Jumeirah Sceirah, the tallest and fastest slide outside North America; the aptly titled Tunnel of Doom, which takes you on a spine-tingling underground journey of twists and turns and the Summit Surge, which uses high-powered water jets to propel people on inflatable tubes uphill. The park offers a water- proof pre-payment system, which is ideal for groups. The cashless system comes in the shape of a wristband that stores electronic credits, which can be used on rides, food and drinks, and gifts from the Souq Al Wadi.
