participants can submerge themselves in the Ambassador Lagoon a gigantic aquarium that is home to 65,000 marine animals including stingrays, eels, piranhas, sharks and other exotic sea creatures. Another unique venue option is the maze of underwater halls and tunnels known as The Lost Chambers, featuring sci-fi type props and individual fish tanks. Here guests can get up-close-and-personal with even more exotic marine life such as lion fish, langoustines, jellyfish, eels, and many more. Groups are invited to go behind the scenes where they can feed the fish and visit the fish hospital. The Lost Chambers has the capacity for 100 guests seated or 250 in cocktail style.


Back on dry land, Dolphin Bay Beach with its lagoons, offers a magical outdoor setting overlooking The Palm and Dubai skyline for an unlimited number of guests.


Food glorious food


Atlantis prides itself on its food and beverage offering and boasts a catering team of more than 500 chefs. For groups and events, the team can tailor-make a delicious menu based on individual requirements. In addi- tion to event catering, there are 18 unique bars and restaurants on site, each boasting different themes and cuisines, ranging from three Michelin-starred chef restau- rants to casual dining outlets, making the resort a true gastronomic destination. For award-winning fine dining there's Nobu


the cutting-edge Japanese style restaurant with South American influences by world- renowned chef Nobu Matsuhisa; the elegant Ossiano serving dishes inspired by the sea it's Mediterranean meets tapas; Rostang the Parisian restaurant offering a patisserie and contemporary French brasserie cuisine; and Ronda Locatelli where celeb- rity chef Giorgio Locatelli presents authentic Italian cuisine.


Mixing business with pleasure Atlantis is also 'the' place in Dubai to mix business with pleasure with the events team geared up to provide signature experi- ences combining all the resort has to offer. Team building exercises are a specialty, with the resort's very own Aquaventure Waterpark the largest waterpark in the Middle East providing a veritable play- ground for groups looking to break loose from the corporate environment. Here amid lush tropical landscaping there are 17 hectares of rivers, waves, slides and pools, plus a 700-metre private beach. The waterpark can be booked exclusively for groups of up to 2,200 people and highlights include a 2.3-kilometre- long looped river ride and the pice de rŽsistance a 27.5-metre drop down the 'Leap of Faith' into a shark-filled lagoon. Atlantis can also arrange group inter- actions with dolphins at the 4.5-hectare Dolphin Bay. There are three lagoons where marine mammal specialists will talk


group members through the marine life features at Atlantis. A Dolphin Bay interaction will add a truly memorable activity during any conference.


Or for a more relaxing experience, the ShuiQi Spa can put together a group package, thanks to its 27 treatment rooms. Another option, particularly for first-time visitors, is a helicopter flight taking off from the Atlantis helipad. Passengers are taken on a journey of a lifetime, taking in all the breathtaking sights of the Dubai skyline including the tallest building in the world, Burj Khalifa, and many other landmarks.
