Passing Along Good News: I would like to commend the prompt and effi cient attention given to me and my
motorhome by the staff at Cariboo Truck & Equipment Repair, in 100 Mile House, BC. Heading south from the RV park in Lac La Hache, my diesel RV had little power and
acceleration. I was referred to the above mentioned shop. When I spoke with Dale and explained my need to be in Vancouver that aſt ernoon, he looked at the coach right away and discovered a broken turbo clamp. T anks to Dale and his team we were on the road in 45 minutes. And Sheila, thanks for your great magazine, too.

A Business with Integrity: Sheila, we just wanted to let you know what a good experience we had with one of your
advertisers, ABBY SPRING SERVICE LTD. in Abbotsford. T ey put new springs on our fi ſt h wheel before we headed out on a trip to Saskatchewan this summer. On our return trip to BC we noticed uneven tire wear on one of the rear tires where
the new springs had been installed. We went back to Abby Springs with the fi ſt h wheel and asked Mike, the owner, to take a look at our tire. He went underneath, examined everything and said that the wheel was out of alignment and asked if we could leave the rig overnight. We stayed in his parking lot where he ran an electric cord for us for the night. T e next morning we went off shopping and when we got back aſt er lunch a new axle had been installed along with a brand new tire. T is was all done at no cost to us with no argument. What a pleasant surprise to deal
with someone who stands behind their work without question. We would certainly recommend Abby Springs to other RVers.

Re Exceptional Service Received: We would like to share with your readers the exceptional service that we received
when our truck broke down at Jim’s Market/Shell Station in Clearwater, BC at the end of July while we were on our way to Saskatchewan for a family reunion. Aſt er I fi lled up with diesel, our truck would not start and the attendant, Devin, called
a local mechanic to come and look at our truck. However, as our truck was still under warranty we were told we had to go to a Ford dealership and that they would send tow trucks as we had our 5th wheel with us. While waiting for the tow trucks Devin got cones and placed them behind the 5th wheel so people would not pull in behind us. He and other staff assured us that we did not need to worry about blocking traffi c, as it could not be helped. T e inside staff were also very helpful in getting Ford dealership phone numbers and in off ering the use of their telephone. One and a half hours later and still no tow truck, our truck started and we headed off to Kamloops in search of a Ford dealership. When we contacted Kamloops Ford Lincoln Ltd. at 880 - 8th Street, Kamloops, BC,
they said to come right in and they would try to get us looked at that aſt ernoon and would do their best to get our truck repaired the next day. Even though we did not arrive at the dealership until fi ve minutes before the technicians were fi nished for the day, they took the time to do a computer diagnostic on the truck, determined the problem and booked us in for service fi rst thing the next morning. T ey then had us move our truck and 5th wheel to the back of the shop where they brought an extension cord so that we had power. T ey took our truck in at 8:30 a.m. and had us on our way by 1:30 p.m. that aſt ernoon. All of the staff at the dealership were friendly and went out of their way to make a
stressful time more manageable for us. We would highly recommend this dealership for anyone needing service. Norm & Ruth Sigurdson Maple Ridge, BC

Fibreglass with Lustre: Recently I came across a fantastic
product called PoliGlow, the never-wax- again product which was advertised in T e Good Sam Club Highways magazine. I have tried many diff erent waxes and fi breglass treatments to get the top of my Class B motorhome to look as shiny as possible. Some provided short-term results but nothing was long lasting. Also I couldn’t fi nd a product that could be applied to decals that would take away the dull, old look. Well alas aſt er applying fi ve coats of PoliGlow to my fi breglass cap, to an area of about 70 square feet, it looks like new, even though it is 24 years old. T e decals now look like they were applied last week. Our Class B motorhome stays cleaner and is easier to clean aſt er the PoliGlow treatment. T e preparation treatment with PoliPrep
can easily be completed the day before the application of the PoliGlow product. T e 4 to 6 coats of PoliGlow recommended can easily be applied in an aſt ernoon allowing the previous coat to thoroughly dry before applying another coat to an area of about fi ve feet. T e applications are applied with a chamois-type applicator about 2” by 6” on an area of 2’ by 2’ as suggested. T e kit is available in the USA at www.
poliglowproducts.com which includes one quart of PoliPrep, one quart of PoliGlow and two applicators, one 2” by 6” and a small applicator for small areas for $70.95 plus S&H. For Canadian RVers a similar kit is
available from Poli Glow Canada at www.
poliglow.ca for $79.99 plus S&H. You’ll be amazed at the results!

Fridge Repairs: We were driving south through the US
Okanagon and our fridge quit on a very hot day this September. We took the trailer into A’s RV Parts
& Repair at 110 Riverview Rd S in East Wenatchee, Washington (509-884-1212) and we were back out in short order with the fridge fi xed. T e burner carboned up very badly causing an overheat code. T ey reset the control panel and charged us very reasonable labour rates. I would highly recommend them for RV
service.
