rapher Cameron Grant, “Unexpected Nevada” depicts the state’s landscapes and landmarks in dramatic colour. Grant used the high dynamic range photogra- phy technique to enhance the pictures, and then printed them on an aluminum background to add to the images’ lumi- nosity.

picture of Nevada at this new museum,” Peter Barton, administrator for the Ne- vada Division of Museums and History, said. “It’s also an important community resource.”

um, Las Vegas is at the Springs Preserve, the 180-acre cultural institution with museums, exhibits, gardens, interpretive trails, event space and more. Visitors to the Nevada State Museum at the Springs Preserve will pay one fee that allows en- try into the preserve as well as the muse- um. T e new museum will be open four days a week, Friday through Monday.
