Once in a while we saw lone RVers dry camping in this desert with the whole world as their front yard. Adrian looked at these desert residents with envy as he has always thought it to be a romantic notion to just park in the wilds. Not me. I was greeted on the phone by Valerie, who has the friendliest voice ever, and closed our conversation by saying, “I can’t wait to see you!” I felt as if we were on our way to visit some dear friends, and indeed on our arrival and throughout our stay, the warmth and friendliness continued. While not a “working ranch” in the
