Dear RVT Readers, Well, I did it again! Entered two items
in the Sooke Fall Fair September 10-11, and won two first place blue ribbons! I entered Mr. Wonderful, the Snowbird prize doll, and also a princess doll who
Tom & LaVerne LaPointe with Mr. Wonderful. At that Snowbird RV Show, Al Cohoe
will be a birthday giſt for my grand- daughter Mia this October 30th. Great fun. Te judges wrote for Mr. Wonder- ful: Superb knitting. Great use of colour. For the Princess doll: Beautifully done. Very flattering stuff! Congratulations to LaVerne LaPointe
of Surrey for winning Mr. Wonderful in the draw at the Snowbird RV Show. Well done LaVerne! Her name was picked by Keith from the Watkins booth, so I’m off the hook if your name wasn’t the one picked! You will have another chance to win one of my dolls at the Earlybird RV Show happening at the Abbotsford Tradex on February 2-5, 2012. My Mom thinks I should do up a snowman for a change! Might just do that as everyone I
who does the RV Owner Seminars in Kelowna BC every June, walked around with me to look at the insides of many of the new RVs on display. I was comment- ing that so many of the motorhomes don’t have easy access closets by the front door for wet jackets! Well, lo and behold we walked into quite a few in the Traveland RV Supercentre display that did have the extra closets! I am running out of rea- sons why I do not have an RV again yet! Told quite a few at the Show that what I really want is to have the RV come with a man! Was reminded though that I have been there/done that and found that isn’t always the way to go either though, so? All I can say is Stay Tuned. I do miss go- ing RVing! In September I joined Sooke’s Curves,
the exercising club for women. (Not a good place to find the right man I know but I am sure enjoying it.) My friend Vivienne, who is also with me in Isage- nix, has been telling me for months how much she enjoys it and how beneficial the exercising has been for her. So since I decided I need to tighten up my core and get more arm muscles, in September I signed on the dotted line and commit- ted to attending every Monday-Wednes- day-Friday morning to reach my goals. Didn’t take long before I realized how

Clouse, the Network Marketing guru (who is in Isagenix now too). He made the statement to get one’s life in balance, all areas need to be addressed regularly, including Family, Financial Freedom, Social/Cultural, Health & Fitness, Ca- reer, Spiritual, and Fun sides. He suggests putting those words on the spoke lines of a wheel and put a dot on each line to indicate where I am in each area, with number one spot being at the centre and number 10 being by the rim. Number 10 is perfection, number one is needing the most attention. I then connected the dots to see if my wheel would roll or not! It is not about being a number 10 in each area, it is about being balanced. Well, I found mine to be a pretty off-centered wheel! In the health department I am a high number now that I am using Isage- nix products daily, but not in the fitness side. Curves will get me on track there. I found I was not able to motivate myself to do a regular fitness program on my own. Owning equipment is very differ- ent from using equipment! Te city of Sooke finished the sewer
line on my Grant Road, but we have not received the OK yet to hook our houses up. And the bricks at the bottom of my driveway are still not re-laid. In September, I drove up to Hixon, BC
again to visit my friend Eileen and her family there and had a nice visit. I have been helping my Mom a bit
more each week, with her physical needs. We are trying to keep her in her own home as long as possible, at her firm and definite request! So far so good. Christmas is next and with that comes
wonderful family time, gingerbread house production, and Christmas deco- rations for my huge Cedar tree outside. I can’t wait to get started! I wish us all a very Merry Christ-
mas and a veryHappy and Healthy New Year !
Luv ya, Sheila
