48/ OCTOBER/NOVEMBER 2011 THE RIDER The Carriage Driver
Tri-County Carriage Association says “DRIVE ON and enjoy a fun filled day” By Carole Partridge
1
Sunday was the final pleasure drive for Tri- County which was hosted at the home of Witteveen’s in Paris, Ontario. Despite the cold rainy weather many club members braved the elements for one last drive through the Wit- teveen property.
Thank you to Harry Cecil & Carol for a wonderful day.
1/ Waiting to go out before the rain comes pouring down
2/ Tri-County members enjoying a very cold fall day.
The wonderful Wit- teveen family has allowed Tri-County year after year to host a pleasure drive and many shows over the years and their generosity has been outstanding to the clubs survival and success. Over the years we have been part of the Witteveen family and enjoyed the beautiful property includ- ing miles of groom trails and extensive fields to explore and enjoy. All of this is flanked with pad- docks filled with their exceptional Friesians. It is a thrill to drive past them year after year to watch how these amazing babies have turned out.
We at Tri-county wish to whole heartedly thank them for their undying gen- erosity and allowing us to be part of their family.
