FEATURE: EXHIBITIONS & CONFERENCING Chamber welcomes new events partner J
D Parties is the latest member to become a Birmingham Chamber events partner. The
Burton company which offers a range of services including themed parties, charity events, exhibitions and product launches as well as Christmas parties, joins Grad Central, Opace Technology Solutions, Quadrant and QAC to benefit from this strategic relationship with the Chamber. The Chamber Events Partner Agreement provides a range of benefits for both the Chamber and partners. Henrik Court, director of events, said this programme has proven to be a mutually beneficial relationship. He explained: “Members are able to raise their business profile using a

variety of promotional channels and the Chamber’s effective communication with the business community.” Event partners receive exhibition space at two Chamber networking
events; four leaflet handouts at events; logo inclusion on the events partner page on the Chamber website as well as in Chamberlink. Event partners also get a free place at the Chamber’s annual dinner and awards. The cost of becoming a Chamber Events Partner is £795 plus VAT. If all
components of the agreement were purchased separately, the cost of the activity would be in excess of £1,695 plus VAT. Lorraine Holden, sales development manager at JD Parties, which is
celebrating its 20th year in the hospitality industry, said: “This year we are delighted to have joined forces with the ICC (patrons of Chamber under the NEC group) as the venue for our Dance Fever Christmas and New Year Parties in Birmingham. “We made the decision to sign up as an event partner earlier this year as
we felt that working with the Chamber with planned activity over a period of time, is a very cost effective way to build our business profile and to promote what we have to offer.”
