Law firms extend global services
Birmingham law firm Shakespeares has launched a new India team, in a bid to help businesses trying to get a foothold in that country’s growing economy. The team will also help Indian businesses looking to invest in the UK. Head of the new team Viplavi Mahendra, said: “Since the start of the economic downturn, we have seen a step change in the number of local companies that are interested in securing a slice of the Indian marketplace, particularly in sectors like infrastructure, IT, manufacturing and biosciences.
