After lapping Avery Hill Park for more than a year, the pair have plans to jog off around the world.

The free weekly events, which start at 9am at the Avery Hill café, aims to attract a wide range of performers from the super- fi t to those just happy to fi nish the course in their own time.

New race director, Mavis Williams said: “Everybody’s welcome; people should start off by registering online; this gives them a bar code which they bring on Saturday morning and enables us to log their times.”
