Cadets from 1035 Squadron recently attended the annual air show at RAF Waddington, and saw a variety of aircraft, including the historic Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, and a more modern display of F16s from the USAF Thunderbirds display team.


The cadets, who attend the squadron from areas such as Accrington, Clitheroe Oswaldtwistle, and Great Harwood, also get the opportunity to go flying,


gliding and shooting, and three lucky cadets will be attending a week-long summer camp at RAF Scampton. The ATC is open to males and females aged 13-18 and we parade Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 19:15 to 21:30. Anyone interested is very welcome to come and say hello! The Abbey Hotel was last months Mystery Pub. Run by Mick & Lorraine The Abbey is a great lively community local with a selection of fine ales and branded beers.
