Joel Orr, owner, believes in keeping business simple, saying, “We sell for pennies on the dollar and only sell by the semi load.” Among the products available are sporting goods, electronics, tools and furniture. Retailers can expect Orr’s pennies on the dollar deal with the purchase of furniture loads. For example, furniture loads worth $40,000 to $60,000, cost only $6,000. Orr adds, “Most loads will run between $6,000 to $12,000, de- pending on what company the product came from and what’s on the load.” Since inventory is large and
frequently changing, Continen- tal Wholesale does not offer an updated listing on its website. Instead, customers and even walk-ins are welcomed to a warehouse in Hampton, IA, home of Continental Whole- sale, to view the available loads.
