REMODELORS COUNCIL NEWS
Why Are YOU a Member? W
HEW! What a month May was. Our second annual Vendor Showcase
at St. Arnold’s Brewery was a staggering success (pun intended). RMC extends a great big thank you to the associate members who made this event a hit, and to all those who attended. As if that wasn’t enough, two days later the new member orientation and networking at BMC's new lumber facility was a great time.
By the time you read this we will also have just finished the weekend in Galveston at the AIA Sandcastle Competition to get June off to a similar start. Again, a huge thank you to the
sponsors and committee members who pulled this off. A special thank you to Chelsea Morales, Kimberly Hanks and Cindy Aplanalp—the Dream Team—who kept us all focused. It just gets better every year; if you missed this one, put Sandcastle on your calendar for next year.
Our next luncheon meeting on June 14 will feature Ron Harris with Harris Technology. Ron will tell us of the latest technology available to help us be more productive, with an emphasis on what I call the “mobile office.” Hope to see everyone there, sporting their new tans from the weekend in Galveston.
Thanks to the crew at BMC Building Materials for hosting the May Remodelors Council networking event at their new N. Houston lumber distribution facility.
