Gossip is that which no one claims to like but everyone enjoys.

This is your chance to make a difference as The Church & Oswaldtwistle Rotary have made it easy for anyone to support their own charity, or any good cause that needs some extra cash. You can register on line at a cost of £3. per person (£5. on the day.) and they will send you the official sponsorship form. www.rotarycharitywalk.org.uk. Then you can turn up on the day and everything is organised for you. Stewards will be on hand to assist, food and drinks can be bought at several outlets along the way including BBQ style refreshments at the end of the walk. A walking street band will be providing entertainment at the start and finish area, and Julie Hesmondhalgh (Hayley from Corrie’) will be present supporting the event. Why not team up and enter the fancy dress ? The prize might be a welcome boost to a worthy cause. Also the local rugby team dressed as Bunny girls would definitely give a welcome boost to the walkers spirits, especially if it’s p.. chucking it down.
