Erwin MS Geography Bee winner named After days of bad weather, delays


and closings, Erwin Middle School finally finished the Geography Bee this week. Te winner is seventh-grader


Andrew Stewart and the runner up is eighth grader Joey Hanson. Twenty-two students from seventh and eighth grades were chosen by pre-qualifying with their social studies teachers. Out of the 22, there were six girls


and 16 boys. Rounds 1 through 6 were multiple choice questions and starting with round 7, no choice of answers was given. Erwin Middle has participated


in the Geography Bee since 2003 and has gone to the state bee for five of those years. Te top 100
