The Nova Green bill reader and coin products are part of our wider approach to the cash handling market in general. Casino has always been our prime goal in the design of our products, but over the years we have diversified into other markets, and many of those applications have found their way back into our casino product designs. Payment methods in general have become more flexible, and new technologies are always at the door. The Nova Green line is a combination of collaboration with other companies and development of these new technologies. One of the benefits here is better features at a more competitive price, since we can save on the lengthy and costly R&D cycle. Another benefit is that we can offer a wider, more flexible portfolio of payment solutions. Traditionally our business has been focused on acceptance and stacking of banknotes only. We now offer acceptance and dispensing of banknotes, as well as coins.


What are the key features of this new bill acceptor that make it a standout device for Casinos and manufacturers alike? The Nova Green is a universal product for all world currencies. This has been a standard in our designs since 1999. It is also a universal fit, so that it can fit most of today’s games failry quickly. The Nova Green also carries the GPT Smart Stacker


with the latest RFID technology, And of course there is the price as mentioned previously.


Price is a vital part of any deal, but how does the Nova Green’s functionality reliability build quality and price compare with competitors, why should they choose the Nova Green over other options?. We believe that we pass confidence to our end customers in two very important ways. We invite them to try the product for themselves, and we provide a three year warranty for all of our products. Ultimately GPT’s goal is to maintain a happy customer, and we simply do all we can to ensure that.


What’s the best piece of business advice you have ever been given? Draw a distinct line between your business day and your home life. As a confirmed workaholic I have always found this very difficult to do myself, but I still preach it to others, because I know the price you can pay. We all get passionate about our work, but there has to be some degree of control over it. When you do finally get home, drop all thoughts of business, otherwise you will not re- charge for the nest day. It’s a simple maxim, but how many people in this business follow it?


What are the company’s plans for 2011? We expect another slow year, but the goal is still the same – company growth and re-growth. We are constantly working on expanding our partners globally, and improving our customer service. As always we have something new up our sleeve in the product line. Some of these new developments are so exciting I would love to talk about them here, but we will have to wait until later this year.
