Partnered with sleeper magazine, HI Design EMEA brings the region’s top specifiers and the most innovative suppliers together to talk business.

It also delivers one of the most compelling seminar programmes in the business. 4 Sessions will be conducted over the 2 business days. We are delighted to confirm the following details:

Session 1: European Hotel Development Report. Want to know what’s really going on in Europe? Michael Widmann, CEO of PKF Hotelexperts in Vienna, will present the EMEA Market Overview with a special focus on Central & Eastern Europe.

HI Design gives you the full picture: the projects, the people and a unique opportunity to get to know them all

Session 2: A Chat with HBA’s Michael Bedner. A rare opportunity to get personal with one of the biggest names in the Industry.

Michael Bedner leads the largest hospitality design firm in the world. Michael has remained committed to the three principles on which he and Howard Hirsch based the business: to have fun, learn and grow from every experience and to produce the best design possible for each project.

Session 3: Triple Award-Winning Design for Beginners. Patricia Urquiola, the multi- disciplined Spanish Designer will present.

Patricia’s first hospitality project, the Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona, won European Hotel Design of the Year at the recent European Hotel Design Awards. Her sympathetic, yet glorious transformation of the old bank also secured her the ‘Conversion of an existing building to hotel use’ and ‘Restaurant Interior Design of the Year’ Awards. Patricia’s presentation will be followed by an Interview with Guy Dittrich and you are invited to join in the conversation.

Session 4: The Panel

The HI Design Panel will provide a lively, interactive debate on a subject close to the heart of hospitality design. The topic and 4 of the Industry’s top names will be confirmed shortly. Hosted by Guy Dittrich, The Panel brings an entertaining and thought-provoking conclusion to a truly exciting programme.
