Education Appeals against Education Admission
Individual who have problems getting children into the school of their choice, should in the first instance contact their Unit Welfare Office for advice on appeals. Units can if unable to help, refer the service user to the AWS (WM) on Donnington Mil: 94480 2793 or 01952 672 793.

Children’s Information Service 0845 650 9876 The Children’s Information Service is responsible for ensuring that families in Staffordshire have access to comprehensive information about all registered childcare and early years provision. The age range covered by the Service is 0 to 14 years and 0 to 16 years for those with special needs or disabilities.
The following is a range of education options available to parents moving into Staffordshire or with children reaching school age. It is not inconclusive and parents are advised to seek advice in the first place from the HIVE Information Officer. Parents are reminded that certain stages, especially the reception class in Infant and Primary Schools have a maximum number setting which they cannot break and therefore parents, especially those applying late, may not get the school of their choice.
