Aabani stylists venture to England for show

Kitchens and Edward Lee, as well as master stylist Brandi Bailey, recently returned from attending the 2010 Salon International Hair Show in London. Salon owners and stylists from


around the world gathered at the show to share the latest trends in hair and beauty. Seminars were held to give intensive instruction in color and cutting techniques. Vendors were also available to introduce new and exciting products on the market. According to Bailey, “it is impor-


tant for Aabani to stay on top of the latest in hair and spa techniques so that we can provide superior service to our current and future clients.”

Troop 15 annual barbecue


Boy Scout Troop 15 will hold


the annual fundraising barbecue from noon to 7:30 pm on Satur- day (Nov. 6) at the First Baptist Church on Main Street in beau- tiful downtown Weaverville. Te 50 scouts, who range in age from 11-17, plan to raise money for camping equipment by sell- ing slow-grilled pork barbecue, chicken, beans, slaw, drinks and dessert. A live auction will begin at 6 pm, entertainment, silent auction, prize drawings and to-go orders will be available through- out the day. Tickets are $8.
