The Philips SpeedStar is an energy efficient luminaire requiring minimal maintenance and incorporating the easy to upgrade LEDGINE, which can be connected to lighting regulation systems for further energy savings. 24 LEDs with around 32W power con- sumption ensure efficient optimal road and path lighting from the CONVIA LED. With a mounting height of four to six metres the sophisticated optic enables luminaire spacings of up to 40 metres - which significantly reduces investment costs. The low power consumption guar- antees not only greater cost-efficiency but the outstanding thermal manage- ment also generates a longer service life. Even the basic version is equipped for twilight switching. A (DALI) dim- mable version is also available.

It’s a concept used in WE-EF’s RFL500 family of street lighting. WE-EF RFL LED streetlighting luminaires with OLC Technik are consistently con- structed for an effective, energy saving illumination. They have a round design made from an aluminium cast and are available in two sizes: the small version RFL534 with a diameter of (460mm diameter) and large version RFL544 (570mm).
