Peter gained an honours degree in computing from Lancaster University in 2003, and has also taught in the subject. After fixing PC problems for family & friends, decided this year to start his own business. “ I saw a need for the business and it’s what I enjoy doing. When someone has a PC or a laptop, they own by far the most advanced piece of equipment in their home, many times more powerful than the ones that controlled the moon landing! Generally, because people use them on a day to day basis, they don’t notice that their system slows down and will pick up issues over time, until they stop working. A person will have their car serviced, or even their washing machine, though few think of having their PC serviced and it can be easy to think it’s time for a new PC/laptop, when their current one could be up- graded or even just serviced saving £100.s!” Peter offers a collect and return service where he can run advanced programmes that restore a system to its best capabilities. He also offers a repair service, virus removal, advice on upgrades and basically any other computer issue in a friendly and patient manner. He will also cut out the jargon and explain things in a non technical way for those of us that feel a bit baffled by technology!
