Wonderful Meal was enjoyed in


the company of our German Rotary friends, (hopefully illustrated in these photos), The dinner had to be held in the larger main room of the Lodge to ac- commodate so many of us. Our President Raj introduced the president of Hermes- keil as our speaker. He started to speak to us in Eng- lish then in German, and


ice President Hans Konrad Rode did a marvellous job


of translating the Presi- dent‟s German into English for us.

enced by all and many thanks were expressed by the speaker, especially for changing our normal Thursday lunchtime meeting to Friday evening in order to accommo- date the 22 visitors from Germany.

pecial reference was made to the BULL which in Germany they read and enjoy, They were especially


impressed with the logo a presentation of Champagne was


made by our German Friends to all our members which was much


appreciated. A toast and a special invitation was then made for us all to visit Germany to taste many of their Splendid wines.
