Retreat for Breast Cancer Survivors
I
n honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Dr. Carolle Jean-Murat will offer a one-day retreat,
Surviving and Thriving with Breast Cancer, on October 30, at Dr. Carolle’s Wellness and Retreat Center, in San Diego. The retreat is designed to help women living with breast cancer understand
their treatment options and take control of their care. Dr. Carolle, a board-certified gynecologist and holistic, primary care practitio-
ner, notes that women facing an abnormal mammogram or breast cancer diagnosis are often bombarded with treatment options. “Making the right decision can be difficult,” she says. “Offered in a peaceful, supportive environment, the retreat is intended to help women discover the best choices for their individual care.”

Lectures Introduce New Omega-3 Oil D

plant. During a healthy vegan lunch at the second lecture, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., October 9, Dr. T will elaborate on the science of the new omega-3 oil and the clini- cal trials that have been conducted.
