Excellence From the Ground Up
By Tami S. Zimmerman If there’s a company that knows how to keep a posi-
tive attitude and focus on business development during a recession, it’s the people who work at G.M. Crisalli & Associates, Inc. G.M. Crisalli & Associates was a young startup compa-
ny when the nation was experiencing an economic crisis more than 20 years ago. The company was financed with little more than the money in Gary’s pockets. In 1989, Crisalli’s working space was a two-bedroom apartment in Solvay. Today, he owns and operates a company head- quartered in Syracuse, NY with an annual sales volume of 24 million dollars. And it’s projected to grow even bigger. “We went into business during a recession,” Crisalli said. “So we were trained in a competitive, demanding
economy, and we’ve maintained that competitive mind- set. The economy tends to rise and fall but being a com- petitive company, focused on producing a quality prod- uct, has remained a constant for us since our inception. G.M. Crisalli & Associates specializes in general con- tracting, construction management, development, reno- vation and planning. The company serves a geographi- cal area from the Maine/Canada border to just north of Virginia, and from the Northeastern seaboard to just east of the Mississippi River. Clients include retail outlets, restaurants, municipalities, hospitals, medical centers, grocery stores, apartment complexes, and athletic facili- ties, as well as public projects for various counties, states, schools and the military. It also acts as a distributor for Chief Buildings, a leading manufacturer in metal building
