Cluttons look for Wapping suCCess Cluttons is relocating its existing Wapping offices to larger and more prominent premises on the High Street. The new offices ensure that the firm is set to reap the benefits of the reopening of the East London Line and from the ripple effect of the 2012 Olympics. The new waterfront office, led
by sales manager Lee O’Neill and lettings manager Sarah Blythe, is the largest outlet on the high street after the major supermarkets. James Hyman, Partner for
Residential Sales, said, “Cluttons has gone from strength to strength in recent years and the investment shown in the relocation of this new office is testament to this success. The property market continues to recover and we are hoping to capitalize on this by opening more offices in Central London.”
Chesterton open in Cape toWn, south afriCa Chesterton Humberts has opened in Cape Town, South Africa. Andrew Smith, the MD, has over
20 years experience in the property industry and was previously owner and MD of Cluttons SA PTY ltd., with nine branches across South Africa. Robert Bartlett, Chesterton Humberts CEO, says, “South Africa remains a popular destination for wealthy and retiring second home owners, and an increase in corporate relocation activity in recent months makes this an exciting time to enter the country.” Andrew comments, “The last

Fyfe Mcdade has acquired premises in the trendy area of Marchmont Street WC1, for their new Bloomsbury office. The branch will service the areas of Clerkenwell, Kings Cross, Bloomsbury, Covent Garden and Soho
while the Shoreditch office will continue to service Shoreditch, Spitalfields, Islington, Dalston, London Fields and Victoria Park.
kfh Moves into palaCe Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward has a new flagship branch in Crystal Palace, adding to the company’s tally of 50 branches. The branch is located in the centre of Crystal Palace and will offer sales and lettings. The opening of the extended

Cambridge-based estate and block management company, Encore Estate Management has acquired JP Management on the retirement of the owner, John Peartree. The portfolio includes leasehold apartment blocks in London. Having moved into new offices in Cambridge earlier this year,
directors Stephen Chard and Neil Robinson are delighted with Encore’s advancement. “Despite the economic downturn, Encore has had an exceptional 12 months. East London Line later this year this will connect up-and-coming Crystal Palace to The Docklands area making it a much more accessible and part of London.
