Unit Evaporator Selection
The capacities of the unit cooler were tested in compliance to EN 328 standard with R22 according to SC2 testing
conditions (Tab 1).
To select the product in conditions of practical use with R404A, it is necessary to multiply the nominal capacity value by the
correction factor stated in Tab 2.
With R134a and R22 refrigerants multiply the nominal capacity by the respective factor (Tab 3).
Selection examples
A) for a CTE model based on required heat load
- Heat load = 2kw
- Room temperature = -25ºC
- TD = 7K
- Refrigerant = R134a
- Selected model = CTE 41 M6
