The big event in September is the San Diego Rodeo. There will be plenty of rodeo-
sponsored events taking place the weekend of September 11-13 and the rodeo
itself will be at the Lakeside rodeo grounds. If Wrangler butts drive you nuts, this is
the weekend for you. Check out

will find a cowboy to ride into the sunset with you. Giddy up cowboy!
If music is more your thing, you should catch The Killers when they come to
town. They will be rocking out September 18 at the Viejas Arena, which used to be

If nightlife activities are what you seek, be sure to go to the Montage Reunion at
Club Spin on September 19 because Michael Mack is taking us back to the era of
Montage and all those fabulous theme parties that used to get me to dress up like
anything from a clown to superhero. The Dream Girls will also be there, so don’t
miss this special event.
Also my new home base, Bacchus House, will be raising money for Bienestar
and Maryah, September 26 with its 18th annual Turnabout show. Each year during
Turnabout, the staff switches it up and dresses in drag for a good cause. I love how
all the hot staff members manage to look so feminine for charity.
Finally, my last recommendation for the month is my best friend Alex Maravilla’s
birthday September 26. Alex will be turning the big FOUR-O that evening at Uni-
versal. He asks that in lieu of gifts, please bring a donation for the Tijuana orphan-
age La Esperanza. The birthday starts at 6:00 p.m. And the first 100 guests to arrive
before 7:00 p.m. will receive a gift bag full of goodies. There will also be a fun show
at 8:30 and hottie DJ Marcel Hetu will be spinning all evening. Feliz Cumpleaños
