people are forced to battle to their deaths. dexter’s Michael c. Hall co-stars as the

Pandorum
from the creators of the Resident Evil film franchise comes a terrifying new thriller
in which two crew members, played by dennis Quaid and Ben foster, wake up on
an abandoned spacecraft with no idea who they are, how long they’ve been asleep
or what their mission is. the two soon discover they’re actually not alone—and
the reality of their situation is more horrifying than they could have imagined.
Pandorum is rated R and opens September 25.

tim Burton co-produced this feature-length animated tale based on Shane
acker’s oscar-nominated short film of the same name. the story takes place
in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity is in danger and the only hope
for survival is a group of nine rag dolls, led by the heroic number 9. the movie
includes the vocal talents of christopher Plummer, John c. reilly, Jennifer
connelly and elijah wood as number 9.
9 is rated PG-13 and opens September 9.
Surrogates
Bruce willis and radha Mitchell headline in this sci-fi thriller. they portray fBi
agents investigating the mysterious murder of a college student linked to the
man who helped create a high-tech surrogate phenomenon that allows people to
purchase unflawed robotic versions of themselves. thus enabling them to experi-
ence life vicariously from the comfort and safety of their own homes.
Surrogates is rated R and opens September 25.
Also This Month, Remember This Name?
debbie allen returns in the remake of the hit 1980 film Fame, in which she
had a cameo role that was expanded to the starring role of the subsequent
tv series it spawned. Much like the oscar-winning original, the story will
track the failures and fortunes of super-ambitious young performers and
their teachers as they navigate a school year at the prestigious High School
for the Performing arts in new york. adding to the appeal of this “High
School musical predecessor” will be Megan Mullally and Kelsey grammer
who join allen as teachers of this new class.
Fame is rated PG and will open September 25.
