>Shortly after you began doing the S&M type
gimmick with Shaniqua. What were you thoughts
on doing that type of gimmick on TV?
Most in the WWE have characters and this is the
direction they wanted to take us. I think one of the
writers saw Britney Spears doing an S&M gimmick
and there were a couple of guys wearing black leather
pants and she was wearing black leather, and they
got the idea of having the S&M characters. Me and
Danny at the time were wearing the black leather
pants of the old Revolution stable that the Machine
had in OVW. So he gave us this big jacked-up black
woman named Shaniqua, Linda Miles the WWE Tough
Enough winner, and put her with us, and we just tried
to make it work. They told us what they wanted, we
gave them all of our ideas and they kind of ran with it
and try and take it to the limit. We just went with it,
they said "Here’s the ball, it’s an S&M gimmick, make
it work"and we went "Ok".
>What was it like working with Shaniqua? I heard
she had a few issues in training...
Somewhat. Everyone who comes in who really
doesn’t have a passion for the business, you’ve got to
deal with. It’s different when you love this business
and have a passion for it. When you don’t really care a
lot, and are just there for the limelight, you’re going to
have problems and your work ethics not always going
to be there. I’ll give her an A for effort, she tried and
she kept her body in shape, and when we were out
there she did what she was asked. It was the things
behind the scenes she didn’t really do that much, that
