Next biggest is Irish Ferries, and head of pas- senger sales Declan Mescall feels positive. “The compliments we’ve received about our ships and high levels of service have, we are sure, won us many converts,” he says. “Agents can be confident that customers are guaranteed a top-class service in terms of reliability, timing, facilities and care.” Last year a new operation, Fastnet Line, started between Swansea and Cork, reviving a route which disappeared in 2006. Since then 80,000 passengers and 31,000 cars have used it.
