THOMAS COOK LAUNCHES MANCHESTER-TOBAGO ROUTE
Thomas Cook has commenced a seasonal direct service from Manchester to Tobago, opening up the Caribbean island to passengers from the Northwest of the UK. The carrier will operate the service from November 13 until
March 19, offering a weekly direct service, with fares starting from £199 one-way.

TOBAGO HERITAGE MUSEUM TO OPEN ITS DOORS THIS MONTH [NOVEMBER]
A new museum dedicated to showcasing Tobago’s special history and the stories of its people is set to open this month. Frederica Brooks-Adams, director of tourism for the Division
of Tourism and Transportation at the Tobago House of Assembly, says: “In addition to our annual Tobago Heritage Festival, we’ve started a Heritage Trail. Part of it opened in September. And, we have so many artefacts from slavery and Pre-Columbian era, that we have now started working on a Heritage Museum, where we are going to tell the stories of Tobago’s people from past to present. She adds: “Visitors will walk the Heritage trails – of which we
will eventually have three or four – and we’re going to make the museum the culmination of these trails.
“SEA TO SEA”MARATHON WILL RETURN TO TOBAGO FOR THE SECOND TIME
Following the success of its launch in May 2016, the Sea to Sea Marathon will return to Tobago for a second year. Offering one of the most picturesque marathon backdrops in the world, Tobago’s Sea to Sea Marathon unites the island’s Caribbean and Atlantic coastlines. It will take place on May 20 and May 21, 2017. The 26.2-mile route meanders through rainforest, villages and the island’s capital of Scarborough, before finishing on Lambeau Beach. Fitness-conscious travellers are welcome to register for the
marathon, and can also opt to take part in the half marathon, 10km and 5km versions of the race. Visit
