Kirker unveils first Sicily brochure

Kirker Holidays is releasing its first Sicily brochure and expanding its Italy programme for 2017.
The operator, launched 30 years ago with an Italian Cities brochure, has added a range of properties to its main programme plus new escorted cultural and music tours. The standalone Sicily brochure,
which launches in mid-December, features sample itineraries for short breaks and multi-centre holidays. The programme includes nine-night The Sicilian Quartet, from £1,745; eight-night South

East Hills & Coast, from £998; 12-night West Coast Wonders, from £1,625, including flights, car hire with maps and B&B accommodation.
is the five-star Villa Neri in the foothills of Mount Etna, which leads in at £679 for three nights, and Monaci delle Terre Nere, a country-house hotel on the lower slopes of Mount Etna, which leads in at £629 for three nights. Also featured for the first time is the Unesco World Heritage Site of Val di Noto in southeastern Sicily, Menfi in the island’s main wine- producing region, and Cefalu. The west coast of Sicily has been
added to the programme with the fishing village of Mazara del Vallo and the San Vito lo Capo Peninsula. The brochure includes accommodation in existing areas featured by the operator such as
Taormina; Ragusa, where two more four-star properties have been added; Agrigento, where one hotel has been added; and the Sicilian capital of Palermo, where the operator has introduced the four-star Grand Hotel Wagner and four-star Grand Hotel et des Palmes. In Kirker’s main programme,
properties have been added in the Italian Lakes, Ligurian Riviera, Milan, Naples, Pisa, Rome, Puglia, Cinque Terre and Tuscany. The new escorted cultural and music tours include a six-night Venice & The Palladian Villas of the Veneto
tour from £2,669.
