Cook to unveil peaks push details at retail conference

Thomas Cook is set to reveal its new peaks campaign to staff at its retail conference in Cyprus next week.
Around 700 people are expected
at the four-day event, which starts on Monday.
Cook staff will hear from UK managing director Chris Mottershead, retail and customer experience director Kathryn Darbandi and chief executive Peter Fankhauser at the Coral Beach Hotel in Paphos. The main focus of the
conference will be looking ahead to 2017 and delegates will have the chance to hear about the peaks campaign for the first time. And, to celebrate Cook’s 175th
year, delegates will have a chance to look back over the history of the travel giant and reflect on the anniversary celebrations over the past 12 months. Kathryn Darbandi reintroduced the annual retail conference when she joined Cook in 2015.

More than 150 delegates are expected at this weekend’s Aito Overseas Conference in Jordan. The event is one of Aito’s
fastest-selling conferences to date, with a mix of operator members and Aito Specialist Travel Agents set to attend. Speakers include politician
