Park Plaza to add 900 rooms to London portfolio

Park Plaza Hotels & Resorts is to open two hotels in London and refurbish two others, adding nearly 900 rooms to its portfolio in the city and creating almost 300 jobs.


The multimillion-pound


investment will increase Park Plaza’s room count to 3,158 at eight properties within the M25 around London, making it one of the largest international upscale hotel brands in the capital. The hotel chain, operated


in Europe by PPHE Hotel Group, will open the Park Plaza London Waterloo before the end of the year. This will feature 494 ‘contemporary’ rooms, a restaurant, bar, cafe, spa and a gym with a swimming pool. The hotel, which is in the


converted premises of the Central Office of Information, is a short walk from Waterloo and Lambeth North underground stations, and
