class nail techs The Waverley Academy has welcomed three of the country’s most prestigious nail techs to their teacher training program to further their careers as international trainers and educators.


Adriana Onofrei (pictured), Julia Celovalnikova and Diana Nagais have a multitude of national and international awards between them and are continually looking at ways to develop their skills.


“It’s a privilege for us that nail professionals of such an incredibly high standard have chosen to complete their teacher training with us,” says Veronica Clinton, Director at TWA. “It couldn't have come at a better time as we are currently developing our nail education department and will be recruiting Adriana onto our teaching staff to help with developments.”

Skin care range offer one-day


course Boost Beauty Solutions is holding a one-day course in the Juliette Armand Skincare range at their Dublin office.


The course will include the theoretical and practical aspects of both the Skin Boosters and Elements range of products, where you will also get to feel all the products. Students will then receive a certificate.


Upcoming training days are set to take place on 9th May and 13th June.

The Waverley Academy reports that their Summer teacher training programme is already proving popular with beauy therapists, make- up artists and complementary therapists.


The programme enables professionals to complete training in a condensed period at times that fit into their working schedules.


“We are constantly looking at ways to facilitate the needs of professionals who want to get a professional teaching qualification and the blended learning programme that we have developed enables them to achieve this,” says Education Manager, Derek O Kelly.


The programme is delivered on Sundays and Mondays and there is still time to enrol.

If you’d like to add new lash and brow techniques to your repertoire, Cararosy offer courses in LashCreations and MaxBrows treatments.


LashCreations is a professional brand of individual eyelash extensions made from silk. With a large variety of thickness, weight and lengths available, you can perform fast and customised applications. Fans of LashCreations include beauty and fashion blogger Suzanne Jackson aka SoSuMe, who has posted pictures of herself wearing the lashes on her social media sites.


If brows are more your area of interest, MaxBrows is a Microblading technique which uses a microneedle pen and paste, rather than ink, which is easy to control.


Cararosy, an ITEC registered training provider, has recently secured funding with local enterprise and can now offer a 20% discount off the listed course price, when three or more students are in attendance.


The one-day LashCreations Training Course in Silk Lashes (which includes bottom lashes) is €450 including kit, but with the grant will cost €360. The one-day LashCreations Eyebrow Building Course with brow extensions is also €450 including kit, but just €360 with the grant. The MaxBrows Microblading two-day course is €1,500, available with the grant at €1,200. This includes kit and marketing material. Grants are only available to those in employment
