As I write this the sun is shining through the office windows and there’s generally a feel of cheer in the air. It’s amazing how much the weather can affect your mood. Even the most challenging of tasks seems achievable if the sun is shining. So with the onset of Summer, it’s a great time to spread some cheer to your clients. Everyone seems to be in a better disposition as they count down the weeks until their annual holidays or until the weather’s warm enough to go bare-legged. With this in mind, unveil your Summer treatment menus now to get your clients excited.
UV and sunless tanning, waxing and hair removal, toning and cellulite treatments, pedicures… you don’t need me to tell you that your clients will be craving these during the Summer months. It’s time to update your equipment and invest in the best you can afford to ensure your beauty business is at the top of the pile. Now’s also the time to create your marketing materials (speak to your suppliers as they may be able to help with posters, leaflets etc), update your website, and send out your email newsletters reminding clients how great you can make them look and feel this Summer. Get the message out to potential new clients with window displays, leaflet drops and contra-marketing with other local businesses such as gyms, hairdressers and crèches. With a little effort, investment and organisation, the sun will shine on you and your business right through the Summer!
