As a duty manager of Heathrow VIP I’m responsible for looking after every aspect of
the passenger’s journey through our VIP service and providing a private and personal service like no other.
Every day we receive bookings into the suites from people such as heads of state, dignitaries and high- profile celebrities and it’s my job to make sure that their experience is of the highest standard.
Every day offers a new challenge. Sometimes a passenger can arrive late for their departure and check-in is closed. When this situation happens I really love to see us as a team overcoming the obstacles without the passenger even being aware.
Terminal 2 is a world-class terminal and our passengers that come through Heathrow VIP are always very impressed with the look and feel and architecture.
Most of our passengers love to shop and are always looking for traditional British products, so with Terminal 2’s retail being primarily British with brands from John Lewis through to Mulberry and Harrods, we know there will be something for them here.
Being in a small team, we are able to create a relationship with our clients; it is always rewarding when they remember you individually. We sometimes receive thank you emails and letters from clients; it makes you feel really special as it could potentially be an official personal letter from a Royal household.
