Stopover Buddies show real Iceland

Icelandair has begun a new service for passengers on transatlantic flights via Reykjavik who stop over in the city, offering airline staff as guides for a day.
The service, Stopover Buddy,
will offer “a glimpse into the real Iceland”. Passengers could find themselves spending the day with an Icelandair pilot or cabin crew member, or even chief executive Birkir Holm Gudnason. Icelandair already offers passengers flying to the US or Canada from Europe the option of
stopping over for up to seven days in Reykjavik at no extra charge. It launched Stopover Buddy
last week. The service is free to passengers stopping over in the city and can be booked online. Trips include off-piste skiing
with the chief executive, visits to a geothermal spring, lessons in cooking traditional fish dishes, as

EasyJet to start Bristol service to Venice in March
EasyJet will launch flights from Bristol to Venice next month as it expands its operation in Italy with a new base at the Italian airport. Services will operate four times a week.

Coach service connects southwest to Bristol airport
A 24-hour, seven-day coach service connecting Plymouth, Exeter, Taunton and Bristol city centre to Bristol airport launches on February 14. The service is called the South West Falcon.
