Jet2holidays tests waters with cruise Jennifer Morris

Jet2holidays has introduced cruise packages for the first time with three Croatia itineraries for summer 2016.
The sailings on 18-cabin boats, departing from Dubrovnik or Split, visit seven destinations over seven days and include stops at Brac, Hvar, Korcula and Mljet. Excursions include visits to
Unesco World Heritage Sites such as Mljet National Park and swimming in secluded coves. The cruises are operated by
Croatian firm Atlas. The itineraries
are Adriatic, Luxury Adriatic and Exploring the Adriatic Coast. The latter, which sails from Split and
includes seven nights on Eden, Ocean or Afrodita, starts at £719. Steve Heapy, chief executive of
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “It’s the first time we have offered cruises.
“The packages are tailored to
provide the very best value and are a fantastic way of exploring the Croatian coastline and islands. “We are always looking for
innovative new ways to give our customers the best choice of holiday experiences. “This latest product is one
of several new developments planned for 2016.”
AFRODITA: The 39-berth vessel is one of three featured by Jet2holidays The packages include return
flights with
Jet2.com, a 22kg baggage allowance, transfers and a dedicated cruise manager and
breakfast and lunch. Customers will have a choice of local
restaurants for dinner.
